The company was founded by Pieter Coetzer, supported by his partner
Jonas Khelerwa, who is the majority shareholder with 54% share, whilst Pieter owns the
remainder of the equity in the company.

Jonas started his working career in the mining industry as a miner for 9 years
and after gaining extensive experience; his drive for self development joined EMC Petcon
as site foreman inside the SASOL Plant and surrounding Coal Mines. He gained 15 years
of experience in earthmoving, mass excavation and road building.

This has laved a foundation for his entrepreneurship drive and joined Pieter at
Jabula Plant Hire. With first hand experience in earthmoving and logistics, it was easy for Jonas
and Pieter to build a business to the stature that it holds today and whilst they personally developed into
experienced earthmovers and logisticians, they are still as humble as the day they started
and are still involved right there, where the tyre meets the tar.

Pieter has from his first day in his career showed entrepreneurship by
establishing his own company, Grootvlei Scrap Metals. They managed scrap metal contracts with five
Eskom Power Stations. He subsequently owned two Engen forecourts, which received
several rewards. With his entrepreneurship he established Jabula Construction, which
subsequently evolved into Jabula Plant Hire.

The home of Jabula Plant Hire was chosen to be in close proximity to some of our major
clients and specifically with the view to reducing unnecessary cost. Our transport offices,
vehicle yard and truck wash facility are situated at Rietspruit, Ogies and Bethal in
Mpumalanga.

On the other hand we have established a mobile earthmoving division that
locates itself near construction sites such as Goedgevonden and DMO. All of our operations
are managed from our Head Office situated at Grootvlei. Through the employment of
Logisticians and experienced miners, we have further expanded our service footprint and are
now able to provide clients with additional services in more places in the country.
